Rachel Samples is a Los Angeles-based comedian and creator who refuses to write about herself in the first person (yes, even now). She’s got a soft spot for scripting in the third person, building absurd characters, and making videos and sketches that rack up millions of laughs. Her brand of content zeroes in on relationships, womanhood, pop-culture (she once got told she looks like a Temu-version of Blake Lively), and—proudly—her queer-woman identity. She’s the creator and host behind Hey Cool Car(an interview series with vintage cool cars) and Out for a Drive, the only queer game show that takes place inside a U-Haul. When she’s not interviewing celebs on red carpets (yes, Rose Byrne once said “she looks like Gwyneth Paltrow”), you’ll find her collaborating with her funniest pals on sketches, doing improv, or most likely snapping photos of vintage cars she wants to steal.
